- In 2016, the Women’s Affairs Bureau and the Men’s Affairs Bureau were merged to form the Gender Affairs Bureau – a national body with responsible for the administration of gender affairs at the Government level. The Bureau promotes and advances the gender issues to assist women and men in realizing their potential as citizens of Guyana through the attainment of gender equality, equity and identity.
